Day 3 __________

The Wilderness Drives You Out of Your Comfort Zone

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Loss pushes you out of your personal space. The Lord yearns to deepen His relationship with you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you.

Prayer Focus – Find hope in the Scripture to teach you to live it out.

Reflection – Don’t allow loss to distract you from your relationship with God.

Day 64 __________

The Desert Isn’t Designed To Be Comfortable

Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no pomegranates, no grapes, and no water to drink! (Numbers 20:5).

Yes, the Desert is straining and causes heartache. It is how you respond to the Wilderness that reveals your true self. Many Christians complain about what they don’t have. The Lord in the Desert never said the journey would be easy. He promised to protect, guard, and guide you. He is preparing something special for you.

Prayer Focus – Thank you for Your protection and guidance.

Reflection – How am I managing being in the Wilderness?
