THE ROAD:
Jesus' disciples joined Him on a journey to understand how to spread his teachings, despite facing uncertainties. Christian mystics are courageous and daring, unafraid to take risks and trust in God's protection as they travel to fulfill His will. Along the way, they develop the ability to perceive situations and people realistically and interpret outcomes accurately.
TRANSFORMATIONAL ENCOUNTER:
The Christian mystic comes down the mountain after a transformational experience with the Living God. Once down from the mountain, The Lord calls the mystic to a new life. Sweeping changes will abound. What mountain is God asking you to climb?
WAITING:
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength (Isaiah 40:31a NASB).

The Christian mystic patiently waits on the mountain, even though it may seem uneventful. However, unseen events unfold during this time. The mystic leaves no stone unturned in their preparation leading to newfound ideas, power, and abilities. They are deeply connected to people, places, and movements.
THE CHRISTIAN MYSTIC CALL:
Afterward Jesus went up on a MOUNTAIN and called out the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him. (Mark 3:13 NLT).

Jesus took the 12 disciples up a mountain where they received the call. Similarly, Christian mystics are called to ascend a spiritual mountain to establish a connection with the Holy Spirit and create something new. Christian mystics cannot solve other people's problems, but they can lead by example and inspire others to follow. They do not seek attention for themselves.
