Waiting stretches our patience, but Scripture reminds us that God’s timing is intentional and wise.

Scripture reminds us that “there is an appointed time for everything” (Ecclesiastes 3:1a NASB). Each season - waiting, growth, and fulfillment - unfolds under God’s care. What feels like delay may actually be His preparation at work.

Throughout Scripture, God’s promises unfold at the right time. Abraham waited years for a son, Israel waited generations for deliverance, and Jesus came - But when [in God’s plan] the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son... (Galatians 4:4a AMP). These accounts remind us that God is never late - His timing is always purposeful.

When God’s ways are unclear, we are invited to trust Him more fully. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to rely on The Lord rather than our own understanding, trusting that He will guide our steps.

If you find yourself in a season of waiting, let your heart be encouraged. God sees what you cannot, and His timing is shaping your faith, strengthening your trust, and preparing you for what is ahead. You can rest knowing His plans are unfolding as they should.
